CAN I BRING A GUEST/DATE? 

While we would love to have everyone attend, due to limited capacity of the venue, we can only accomodate the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made to "{Your Name} & Guest" if you have been granted one. Please reach out if there's is a special circumstance.

ARE KIDS INVITED? 

Due to limited capacity, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited. Enjoy date night on us!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE? 

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Formal dress code required, black tie optional Please check out the "Attire" tab on our website to find helpful guidance on what others will be wearing. 

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY? 

Please RSVP no later than June 1st, 2025 using the mailer on your formal invitation, or by clicking the "RSVP" tab in the menu above and searching for the way your formal invitation was addressed too. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume you are not able to attend. 

IS THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION IN THE SAME PLACE? 

No! The ceremony will be held at Wightman Chapel at Scarritt Bennett Center near Music Row and the cocktail hour and reception will be held at Country Music Hall of Fame near downtown Nashville. While these locations are less than 8 min away from each other it is not walkable. There is a parking lot at the church and garage parking at Country Music Hall of Fame but we will also be providing shuttle service between the two locations. 

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? 

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 p.m. CST. We ask our guest to arrive by 4:30 p.m. so they can be seated before the start of the ceremony.  Bride and father will be walking down the aisle at 5:00 pm and no one will be allowed in the church after this takes place. 

WHERE DO I PARK? 

Parking for the ceremony should be in the parking lot behind the chapel. Parking at the reception should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame parking garage. We encourage people to utilize the shuttles that will be provided or ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft. Please see Travel page for shuttle times. 

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY? 

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us in a moment that means so much to the both of us. We have gone the extra mile to make sure we have an incredible photographer and videographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you!

WHAT ARE MY DINNER OPTIONS? 

We are offering you to choose from multiple options when you RSVP. We will also be accommodating any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please make sure to note these accommodations during the RSVP process! 

WILL THE VENUE BE INDOOR OR OUTSDE? 

The ceremony and reception will be indoor and the cocktail hour will have indoor and outdoor spaces.Please note that Nashville, TN is very warm in July. You may want to travel with sunglasses or a fan and drink plenty of water. All locations have air conditioning.

IF I'M COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN WHERE SHOULD I STAY? 

Please checkout the " Travel & Accommodation" tab in the menu above to see information on hotel room blocks and local airport to book flights into Nashville, TN. 

WHAT IS THE WEDDING WEEKEND SCHEDULE? 

Please checkout the " Wedding Weekend" tab in the menu above to see information on the events being held across the weekend. There will be a welcome gathering Friday afternoon hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Foss-Skiftesvik in order for those that would like to get to know others a bit before the wedding. More details to follow. 

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR? 

We will Have open bar at Country Music Hall of Fame during cocktail hour and dinner. Please note that Scarritt Bennett - Wightman Chapel is a dry church and there will be no communion or alcohol allowed on the grounds. Please be respectful to the decisions we have chosen for our special day.    

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY? 

We do! Please find our registry through Over The Moon's website or you can find it linked within our website under the "Registry" tab.
